To the right is the first draft of my contemporary moment. For my contemporary moment, I chose to talk about my family tradition, Sunday Brunches. Ever since I was little my family has been going to the same dinner for Bruch every Sunday after church. This moment has been very important to me and has changed very much over the years. From my sister heading off to college, to her moving to Spain, and to my soccer games interfering.
Comment: It was challenging to decide how to tell a story though this "page" because I didn't have any images of my family at the dinner and couldn't find a single picture of the dinner online. Therefore, I decided to pick images of things that are always on our table to tell a more "complete story." Also, missed class on Tuesday so when I came back on Wednesday everyone had already started creating their page but luckily I was able to complete my draft in time for the public critique. Goals: My goal for my contemporary moment was to use different terms compared to the ones I've used in the past. For my next public critique, I want to be confident in the terms I'm talking about because in the past critique I stumbled over one of my terms. Another goal that I have is to add in equation. I've just been having trouble on what term to do it for. I'm thinking maybe pressure. |
